I’m just wondering… going with your idea of sustainability: how sustainable is it to eat Italian food every day on a tiny island in Indonesia?!

Conni – thanks for your comment. I know that the majority of the food at Bibi Beach Resort was produced locally, as it is so expensive to import. The owner seemed to limit the menu to what dishes he could produce with mostly local ingredients. Being mindful of the purchases we make is always important.
