Hi Keith & Amy,

Great to hear your stories of your recent visit to Singapore. We were there in Singapore last July 2009. We stayed there for a week. Yes it is a very beautiful city, all so clean and beautiful. We too were taken around by one of our Singaporean friends in his private car. Most of all we really loved the food there. We took great meals at hawker stands, which is comparetavily so cheap and delicious. Also went to taste Indian food at Little India arcade and many fancy restaurants.
Half day trip to Sentosa Island, sightseeing from Singapore Flyer and visit to fish farm were the highlights of our trip. It was a great trip all together.

Daniel - it was great. We even went back for lunch while we were in Singapore for a one day layover on the way to Hanoi. I just added 3 more pictures to this album from that trip. I tried to use some of your great pointers while taking those shots. In short we had all the traditional Singapore dishes in our two trips there including; chili crab, an oyster omelet, Bak Kuh Te (pork rib soup), skate and fresh bean curd for dessert. I loved the food in Singapore and Amy is working on a post about our time there now. It should be up in a couple of days.
