We both agree that Thailand is one of our favorite stops so far on the trip. Our first 5 days in the country were spent in Bangkok and we had a great time. The sites, sounds, smells and above all the delicious food was a welcome change from the pita bread and grilled meat of the Middle East. We will be doing a full on Bangkok post but in the meantime check out our 27 favorite pictures from our 5 days there.

What a great slideshow! I am excited to be in Bangkok now. Tommy and I surprised our family for Christmas. We fly to Vietnam on Jan 5 for three months in SE Asia. I love reading your blog!

Morgan – have fun in the States for the holidays, I am jealous as we will be waking up early in the morning to video skype with family. Also we will be in Vietnam from Jan 26 for 3 weeks or so, as you you and Tommy will be ahead of us we will be sure to check your blog for updates and insights on traveling there.
