It sounds like Istanbul was a perfect place to start your trip! I am on a business trip right now and spent the weekend in Portland and found myself thinking of you and Keith often because it is a cool and very sustainable city!! I went on a walking tour and got some wonderful information on how a lot of the buildings are gold and even platinum rated LEED buildings and how Oregon is one place in the US that has increased farm land in the past several years because of their focus on organic and home grown crops. So cool! If you haven't been to Portland yet and researched some of their sustainability efforts it would be a great place for you guys to visit! Lots of Love, Kate Amy!!
